Apple Walnut Pie

Ingredients

1 pie shell
4 cups apples, peeled and sliced
3/4 cup sugar
3 tablespoons flour
3/4 teaspoon allspice
1 cup heavy whipping cream
1 egg
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 cup walnuts, chopped

Directions:

Prepare pie shell fill with tart apple slices, Mix in bowl, sugar, flour, allspice, whipping cream, egg, and vanilla pour over apples. Bake at 450°F for 10 minutes. Reduce heat to 350°F and bake about 20 minutes. Sprinkle with chopped walnuts. Bake until apples are tender, 15 to 20 minutes.
