Baked Eggs With Tomatoes


Serves: 6

Ingredients

1 can stewed tomatoes
1 tablespoon chopped onion
1 teaspoon sugar
3 tablespoons butter or margarine
6 eggs
salt and pepper
2 cups toasted bread crumbs

Directions:

Heat tomatoes, onion, sugar and butter to boiling then put in baking dish. Break eggs slide into tomatoes, do not break yolks. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Top with toasted bread crumbs. Bake at 375°F until eggs are as hard as desired about 10 to 15 minutes.
