College Lasagna

Ingredients

1 pound ground beef
1/2 cup water
1 (32-ounce) jar spaghetti sauce (garden-style is best)
1 mushrooms, canned or fresh
1 teaspoon salt
1 lasagna noodles (8 ounces)
1 pint cottage cheese
1 (16-ounce) package grated mozzarella cheese (reserve some for top)
1 (8-ounce) package grated Parmesan cheese (reserve some for top)

Directions:

Brown beef and drain. Add water, spaghetti sauce, mush-rooms, and salt. Bring to a boil. In a baking dish, layer this hot sauce, uncooked noodles, cottage cheese, and mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses. Repeat layers, ending with sauce. Top with reserved cheese (both types). Cover with foil and bake in 375° oven for 1 hour. Set dish on a cookie sheet covered in foil to help with cleanup of overflow.
