Swedish Meatballs

Ingredients

1 pound ground beef
1 egg, slightly beaten
1/2 cup fine dry bread crumbs
1/3 cup milk
2 tablespoons dried minced onion
1 tablespoon brown sugar
1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1/8 teaspoon allspice
1/4 cup flour
1 (10 3/4-ounce) can cream of chicken soup, condensed
1 1/2 cups water
1 (12-ounce) package egg noodle

Directions:

In a medium bowl, combine all ingredients except flour, soup, water, and noodles. Shape into 16 meatballs. Roll meatballs in flour and place in a large frying pan. Over medium heat, cook meatballs until lightly browned and no longer pink in the middle. Drain if necessary.

In a small bowl, whisk together soup and water until smooth, and add to frying pan. Heat to boiling over medium-high heat, reduce heat to low and simmer for 20 minutes. Serve over hot cooked noodles.
