Salsa-Rice-Hamburger Skillet

Ingredients

1 pound ground beef
1 (14 1/2-ounce) can stewed tomatoes, with liquid
1 (15 1/4-ounce) can black beans, rinsed and drained
1 cup uncooked rice
1 (14 1/2-ounce) can beef broth
2/3 cup salsa
1 teaspoon chili powder

Directions:

In a frying pan, brown ground beef until no longer pink. Drain if necessary. Add remaining ingredients to cooked beef. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low. Cover and simmer for 20–25 minutes, or until rice is done. Let stand 5 minutes before serving.
