Ingredients

6 cups water, boiling
8 cloves, whole
3 cinnamon sticks
6 packages herb orange/spice tea (noncaffeinated)
1 (6-ounce) can pineapple juice, unsweetened
1 cup orange juice, unsweetened
1/2 lemon (juice of 1/2 lemon)
4 packets artificial sweetener (Equal)

Directions:

I first had this in Canada and thought it was a very refreshing drink, hot or iced. This version uses herb tea since children certainly don't need caffeine.

Simmer the water and spices for 5 minutes. Add tea bags and remove from heat. Steep for 5 minutes. Remove tea bags and spices. Add juices and sweetener. Serve immediately or refrigerate in covered pitcher. Reheat or serve iced.
