Refrigerator Peanut Butter Cookies

Ingredients

1 cup vegetable shortening
1 cup brown sugar, packed
1 cup sugar granulated
1 cup chunky peanut butter
2 eggs
2 3/4 cups flour, stirred and measured
2 teaspoons baking soda

Directions:

Cream together shortening, sugars, and peanut butter beat in eggs add dry ingredients. Shape into rolls chill in refrigerator or freezer. Rolls of cookies may be somewhat soft, but will slice off easily into 1/4-inch slices. Bake on ungreased cookie sheet at 375 degrees F. for 8 to 10 minutes. Do not overbake. Makes 4 dozen cookies.
