Pineapple Drop Cookies

Ingredients

1 cup sugar
1/2 cup butter real
1 egg beaten
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 cup walnuts chopped
1 (8-ounce) can crushed pineapple packed in its own juice, drained

Directions:

Heat oven to 375° F. Cream sugar, butter, egg, and vanilla. Sift together flour, baking powder, salt, and baking soda. Stir into creamed mixture to make a soft dough. Stir in nuts and pineapple. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto a greased cookie sheet and bake 12 to 15 minutes.
