Pie Crust

Ingredients

4 cups flour
1 3/4 cups vegetable shortening Crisco
1 tablespoon sugar
1 1/2 teaspoons salt
1 tablespoon cider vinegar
1 egg
1/2 cup water

Directions:

Mix first 4 ingredients with a fork. In a separate bowl beat the vinegar, egg and water. Add these to the flour, Crisco, salt and sugar. Stir with a fork until all ingredients are moistened. Mold dough into a ball and chill 15 minutes before rolling into shape. This can be refrigerated for 4 to 5 days or it may be frozen until ready for use.
