Minestrone

Ingredients

3/4 pound pork sausage
4 cups water
2 beef bouillon
1 onion chopped
2 carrots, sliced
2 celery diced
1 (16-ounce) can tomato pureed
2 (8-ounce) cans tomato sauce
2 teaspoons dried parsley flakes, crushed
1/2 teaspoon basil crushed
1/2 teaspoon oregano crushed
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon black pepper
1/8 teaspoon garlic salt to taste
1 (1-pound) can garbanzo beans, drained
1 (8-ounce) can green beans cut and undrained
2/3 cup noodles wide, uncooked

Directions:

Brown pork sausage in heavy kettle drain. Dissolve bouillon cubes in water. Add onions, carrots, celery, tomatoes, tomato sauce, parsley, and seasonings to taste. Simmer, covered, for 4 to 6 hours. Thirty minutes before serving time, add beans and noodles (or other pasta). Simmer until noodles are tender.
