Honey-Spiced Peaches


Serves: 6

Ingredients

1 (1-pound 13-ounce) can peach half or slices
1/2 cup honey
1 stick cinnamon
12 cloves whole

Directions:

Drain syrup from peaches into a small saucepan place peaches in a medium sized bowl. Stir honey into syrup add cinnamon and cloves. Heat to boiling, simmer 15 to 20 minutes. Strain over peaches. Chill several hours or overnight to blend flavors.

To serve: Drain peaches place in sherbets or large serving bowl. Sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar, if desired.
