I’d Give Up My Car Before I’d Give Up This Appliance!

I’m talking about my Vitamix. I LOVE it. I use it several times a day almost every single day! I’ve had a Blendtec, and it was good. But in my experienced opinion, the Vitamix is undeniably superior.

Vitamix vs Blendtec Blenders: Bought, Tested, and Compared - RTINGS.com

Superior? Yes. This appliance just lasts longer. In the Vitamix testing lab, engineers push all products to their literal breaking point, with tests that are far more demanding than anything you’ll ever blend at home. In fact, that’s how Vitamix earned a reputation for being the blender you pass down, not throw away.

And their warranties include a 10-Year Limited Warranty that covers parts, performance, and return shipping both ways. Who does that? Not too many companies today. They’ve knocked themselves out to provide the best warranty you’ll probably never need. (Oh, and by the way, less than 2% of all machines sold are ever sent in for repairs. How’s THAT for a quality control record?)

Their customer care team consists of trained Vitamix experts who help troubleshoot issues, provide tips for better blending, and even suggest new recipes to try. Their customer service is unique—you’ll talk to people who actually use and LOVE the product. They gush over the Vitamix as much as I do.

Here’s what you’ll read on their website: “In a world of noise, Vitamix is the rare tool that cuts through. No frills. No compromise. Just a blender so well-made, it’s become a fixture in the world’s best kitchens. Trusted by chefs, treasured by home cooks, and built to last.” I’m telling ya, it’s not hype, it’s truth!

The Best Vitamix Blenders of 2026, Tested & Reviewed

I’ve written about this machine before. And back then I apologized for sounding like an infomercial. I apologize yet again. But I can’t NOT share the news about this remarkable appliance. Those of you that have one, you know what I’m talking about. Those of you that don’t have one, I urge you to seriously consider getting one.

Over and over, I’ve told my family and friends that I’d give up my car before I’d give up my Vitamix. Of course, folks roll their eyes—my kids tell me that’s the dumbest thing they’ve ever heard. But I counter with, “Well, what good is a car if you’re too sick to drive it? My Vitamix helps keep me energized and well!”

All this effusive narrative comes after just having one of the yummiest breakfast smoothies I’ve ever made. No recipe for this one—just ingredients to taste: fresh-picked raspberries, whole milk plain yogurt, some raw honey, chia and flax seeds, a handful of raw almonds, spinach and kale leaves, and a few ice cubes. It was divine. (And what’s so amazing about raspberries blended in the Vitamix, is that there are literally NO little seeds messing up the end product. The Vitamix finds every last one and pulverizes them to “smithereens”!)

And that’s the other thing I like about the Vitamix company—they’re always creating and sharing new recipes. In fact, I’ll close with one they sent today. It’s a protein-packed twist on cheesecake that transforms cottage cheese into a smooth, creamy dessert dip that’ll satisfy the most discerning sweet tooth. This is so good, I’ve used it to top carrot cake!
