You’ve probably heard of Craig’s List, Angie’s List, and Groupon? I didn’t know anything about them until our kids clued us in. Super sites. Turns out there are some other amazing money-saving sites available to us, as well. I found 12 more (Groupon was included in the list) on a cool site called Babble (I didn’t know about it, either). (Babble, by the way, is a family-oriented site created by Disney.)

Anyway, if you need a deal and you don’t want to spend your entire day looking for it, check out these sites for inspiration and true money-savings.

1.

The Krazy Coupon Lady.
Two young gals started this and it’s become a national phenomenon. The site’s nicely organized and easy to navigate through.

2. Passion For Savings. Creator of the site, Heather Schisler, is a couponing maniac. If you like to use them as well, you’ll appreciate all her research and resourcefulness.

3. Hip 2 Save. This site also features freebies and give-aways. It’s heavily advertised, but worth the time to explore it.

4.

She Saved. FULL of coupon deals. Not only freebies and give-aways, but besides the food coupons, there are even deals on travel. Good site.

5. Coupons. It’s true to its name—all it offers are coupons. Easy to find what you’re looking for.

6. Retail Me Not. You just type in the store/brand you want to find a deal or coupon for and options pop up. Very nice site. Our daughter, Lindsay, uses this one a lot and introduced us to it.

7.

Money Saving Mom. This is a coupon database that saves you time so you’re not looking a million different places for the coupon you need. Terrific reference guide.

8. Groupon . This site is specifically designed to help you find local coupons and deals. All you do is type in your email address and zip code. Then they quickly show deals in your area. Food and Drink, Things to Do, Beauty and Spas, Health & Fitness, Automotive, Electronics, Home & Garden, Travel, and Gift Ideas are the categories. It’s a super site.

9. Living Social . Here’s another site that is all about helping you find deals in your community.

10. Price Blink . This is a computer browser add-on that is “working” while you’re online; it lets you know when it finds you deals. Think of it as your little shopping buddy.

11.

Grocery Guide . Their motto is “A sale does not necessarily mean savings.” We all know that’s true! Really helpful site (they even include money-saving tips) and worth the time to navigate it.

12. Mambo Sprouts. This is a niche site for folks who want to find deals on organic grub. If you like organic food but find it too expensive, then this could be a good site for you. I like it very much.

13. FREE Shipping. I don’t know much about this site yet. But from a quick scan I gathered that there’s a small fee to receive their services. Let’s check it out and see it it’s something we can use.

Meanwhile, here’s to saving lots of money and some time, too, as we avail ourselves of the offers these great sites provide!
