Monday

Dovetailing Tips: Get the cutting board ready for cabbage and onions today. You have two recipes this week calling for cabbage. One says to thinly slice 1 head and one calls for 2 cups of thickly sliced. No matter how you want it cut, it will be wasier to just go ahead and do all your shredding now. You can do it exactly as the recipes dictate or go with what you like (as always), but getting it done all at once is always easier.

The onions are the same, you need 1 sliced and a whole bunch of chopped onions. Even with the different cuts I really recommend doing it all at once - expecially with onions! So, slice 1 large onion into thick slices and chop 3 medium onions and you should have plenty to use all week!
