Dovetailing Tips: This week you will save lots of time by slicing and chopping veggies ahead of time. It doesn't make sense to handle it all more than once (especially onions!) so we will get lots done at once.
Start today by thin slicing 1/3 additional cup of green onions and cutting cucumber sticks for Wednesday's dip. If you are using romaine lettuce then go ahead and prepare an extra three cups so it is ready Thursday. As long as they are kept in airtight bags they should keep just fine.
Dovetailing Tips: Today is more preparation for later in the week! Thinly slice 1 additional cup of celery and chop 2 onions. Then grate 1 extra cup of cheddar cheese and you are way ahead for the week.
We will be using tomatoes several times this week, but I don't recommend cutting them ahead of time.
Dovetailing Tips: Toss in the onions you already chopped. A little extra chopping and slicing Monday and Tuesday sure made for some nice bonuses!
