Strawberry-Banana Sorbet

Serves: 4


        

  Download this recipe.

1/3 cup half and half or milk
2 to 4 tablespoons sugar *
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 cups frozen strawberries
1 banana small, cut in chunks


Place half-and-half, sugar and vanilla in a blender container. Cover and blend until blended. Add half of the strawberries and blend until smooth, stopping as needed to scrape sides. Add remaining strawberries and banana. Cover and blend until smooth, stopping as needed to scrape sides. Serve immediately or cover and freeze up to 4 days.

* Amount of sugar needed will depend on sweetness of strawberries and banana.
