Pepper Steak


Serves: 2

Ingredients

2 top round or top beef sirloin steaks (6 to 8 ounces each)
1 medium onion
1 cup sliced green, yellow, and/or red bell pepper
3 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon garlic salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Directions:

1. Slice the onion, then cut each slice in half and break apart.
2. Cut the peppers into strips.
3. Heat the Worcestershire sauce in a frying pan over medium-high heat. Add the steaks, onion, bell peppers, garlic salt, and black pepper. Cook for 2 minutes, then turn the steaks over and stir the peppers and onions. Cook another 2 to 4 minutes, or until the steaks have reached the desired doneness.
4. Transfer the steaks to dinner plates and cover with peppers and onions.

Important tip
Cook the steak in a hot pan set over medium-high heat. The steak will cook very quickly, so keep an eye on it the entire time.
