Pan-Fried Steak with Gravy


Serves: 2

Ingredients

8 ounces thin beef steaks (1/4 to 1/2 inch thick)
3 tablespoons olive oil
1/2 teaspoon minced garlic
1/2 teaspoon dried rosemary
1/2 cup water
1 tablespoon flour

Directions:

1. Heat the oil, garlic, and rosemary in a frying pan over medium heat, then add the steaks. Cook 1 1/2 minutes, then turn the steaks over and cook another minute. Remove the pan from the heat and let the steaks sit a minute.
2. Transfer the steaks to a platter and return the pan to the stove over medium-low heat. Add the water and flour, and stir until the flour has dissolved and the mixture has a gravy-like consistency.
3. Place the steaks on a plate, top with gravy, and enjoy!
