Soft Granola Bars

Ingredients

3/4 cup honey
1/2 cup vegetable shortening
2 1/4 cups oats
3/4 cup oat flour
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1 cup raisins
1/2 cup sunflower seed
1/2 cup dairy free soy free milk chocolate chips or carob chips
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 cup applesauce

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Cream honey and vegetable shortening together in a large mixing bowl. Add rest of ingredients. Mix well. Press into a well-greased 9 x 13-inch pan. Bake for about 35 minutes until golden brown on top. Let cool. Cut with a sharp knife or pizza cutter.
