Country Gravy

Ingredients

1/2 cup water
1 teaspoon chicken bouillon
2 cups milk
1/4 cup flour
1/4 cup cold water
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper

Directions:

Pour 1/2 cup water into chicken skillet with chicken bouillon. On medium-high bring to boil, scraping chicken bits from bottom of pan. Pour into strainer over a medium saucepan. Discard solids. Add milk to drippings and bring to boil. Whisk flour and cold water until smooth and slowly pour into milk mixture, stirring constantly. Cook until mixture thickens and starts to boil. Stir in salt and pepper.
