Vegetarian Mince Pies

Ingredients

1 pound pear fresh ripe, chopped
1 lemon peel grated
1 orange peel grated
1 pound mixed dried fruit
4 ounces candied peel
4 ounces glace cherries
4 ounces dates chopped
2 ounces almonds flaked
1 teaspoon allspice
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
1/2 teaspoon ginger powdered
4 tablespoons whiskey or other liquid

Directions:

Mix all the ingredients together & let stand for 1 to 2 hours. Store in air-tight jars. Use as a substitute for regular mincemeat.
