Caramel Apple Casserole

Ingredients

1 (14-ounce) package caramels
1/4 cup heavy cream
3 cups Granny apples slices, unpeeled
3/4 cup chopped pecans
3/4 cup chocolate covered raisins
1 to 1 3/4 pound Bread Bowl

Directions:

1. Heat the caramels and cream in a medium saucepan, over low heat. Stir gently but frequently for 3 minutes, or until the caramels are melted and the mixture is smooth. Remove from the heat.

2. Spread one-third of the caramel mixture on the bottom of the bread bowl. Top with half the apples, pecans, and raisins. Repeat the layers, finishing with a layer of caramel. Serve warm.
