Cappuccino Smoothie


Serves: 2

Ingredients

3 tablespoons espresso or double-strength coffee, well chilled
2 tablespoons lowfat milk
1 cup sliced banana (1 large banana)
2 cups coffee ice cream

Directions:

Place the coffee, milk, and banana in a blender, and mix on low speed until the banana is pureed. Add the ice cream and continue to mix, gradually increasing the speed, just until the mixture is blended. Place a Chocolate Bag (or champagne flute) on a small dessert plate and carefully divide the smoothie between the two Chocolate Bags (or flutes). Garnish each plate with a Strawberry Fan or a White Chocolate-Dipped Strawberry (see Garnishes with a Flourish), if desired.
