Egg Sauce


Serves: 15

Ingredients

2 cups milk or cream
2 tablespoons butter
2 tablespoons flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon pepper
2 hard cooked eggs

Directions:

Melt the butter and stir in the flour and seasoning. Remove from heat. Gradually pour in the milk or cream, which has first been warmed by stirring constantly, and cooking over low heat until thickened. Mash the hard-cooked eggs with a fork and add to the sauce.
