Biscuit Bread Pudding

Ingredients

2 - 2 1/2 cups boiling water
6 - 8 cold biscuits, broken up
4 tablespoons butter, melted
1 1/2 cups sugar
2 1/2 cups evaporated milk
6 eggs, beaten
1 1/2 teaspoons (or to taste) vanilla, orange, or almond flavoring
cinnamon to taste
raisins, apple slices, coconut, Mandarin oranges, etc.

Directions:

Mix water, biscuits, butter, sugar, milk, eggs, flavoring, cinnamon, raisins, etc., and pour into greased 9x13-inch baking dish. Bake at 350° until set, 30–35 minutes. Will be thick and shaky, but settles when it cools. Very rich. Cut in small slices and serve hot or cold with whipped cream.
