Apple Pie with Sour Cream

Ingredients

2 tablespoons plus 1/3 cup all-purpose flour, divided
3/4 cup plus 1/3 cup sugar, divided
1 1/4 teaspoons cinnamon, divided
1/8 teaspoon salt
1 egg
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup sour cream
6 medium-size apples, peeled, cored and sliced
1 (9-inch) pie shell, unbaked and chilled
1/4 cup butter

Directions:

Preheat oven to 400°. In a bowl, sift together 2 tablespoons flour, 3/4 cup sugar, 3/4 teaspoon cinnamon, and salt. Stir in egg, vanilla, and sour cream. Fold in the apples, and spoon mixture into pie shell. Bake 15 minutes, then reduce oven temperature to 350°, and bake 30 minutes longer.

Meanwhile, combine the remaining flour, sugar, and cinnamon. With a pastry blender or fingertips, blend in the butter until mixture is crumbly. Increase the oven temperature to 400°. Sprinkle crumb mixture over the pie, and bake 10 minutes longer.
