frosty banana-apple green smoothie

Ingredients

3/4 cup water
2 frozen bananas (see Advance Preparation chapter), thawed for 5 minutes and broken into 2 or 3 peices
1 apple, unpeeled and chopped
8 leaves kale, chopped

Directions:

cutting board
chef’s knife, 8-inch
blender
rubber spatula

Put all the ingredients in a blender and process on high speed until smooth. Serve immediately.
