Sausage Corn Chowder

Ingredients

1 tablespoon dried minced onion
4 to 5 medium russet potatoes, peeled and cubed
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
2 cups water
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1 (12-ounce) can evaporated milk
12 ounces sausages, browned and drained
1 (15-ounce) can whole kernal corn, drained
1 (14 1/2-ounce) can cream style corn

Directions:

In a 4-quart soup pan, bring onion, potatoes, Italian seasoning, water, salt, and pepper to a low boil. Reduce heat and simmer, uncovered, 15–20 minutes, or until potatoes are tender. Add milk, sausage, and corn. Cook over low heat, uncovered, an additional 5–7minutes, or until heated through. Do not boil after milk has been added.Makes 8 servings.
