Ingredients

3 eggs, beaten
2 cups sugar
1 cup white Karo or corn syrup
1 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1/4 cup melted margarine
2 cups walnuts or pecans
2 unbaked (9-inch) pie shells

Directions:

Mix eggs, sugar, Karo, salt, and vanilla. Stir in melted margarine and nuts. Pour into unbaked pie shells. Bake at 350° for 45 minutes to 1 hour or until filling is firm. Each pie serves 6–8.
