Italian Chicken (Savory Chicken Italiano)

Ingredients

2 1/2 pounds frying chicken
salt and pepper
3 tablespoons cooking oil
2 cups spaghetti sauce
1 (10 3/4-ounce) can chicken broth
1 tablespoon parsley
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

Directions:

Cut up chicken; sprinkle chicken pieces with salt and pepper. Then brown chicken in oil in frying pan. After it is browned, drain off fat. Add spaghetti sauce, chicken broth, parsley, and garlic powder. Simmer, covered, for 40 minutes. After it has finished cooking, top with shredded mozzarella cheese.
