Breakfast Cholesterol Casserole

Ingredients

8 slices bread
2 pounds breakfast sausages
1 pound grated Cheddar cheese
1 dozen egg
1 quart milk
1 1/2 teaspoons dry mustard

Directions:

Brown the sausage, drain, and set aside. Break the bread up into one-inch pieces and put in the bottom of a 12-inch Dutch oven. Spread the sausage over the bread and cover with grated cheese. In a bowl mix the eggs, milk, and mustard and beat well with a wire whisk. Pour the egg mixture over the bread, sausage, and cheese. Bake for 30-40 minutes with 5-7 briquets underneath and 18-20 on the lid.
