Po' Man's Beef Wellington

Ingredients

1/2 (10 3/4-ounce) can cream of mushroom soup
1/2 cup bread crumbs
1 (1 1/4-ounce) packet onion soup mix
1/4 teaspoon granulated garlic
2 pounds ground beef
1 egg, beaten
1/2 teaspoon steak sauce
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1 (8-ounce) tube refrigerated crescent dinner roll

GRAVY
1/2 (10 3/4-ounce) can cream of mushroom soup
1/2 cup water
drippings from the meat loaf

Directions:

In a large bowl combine all ingredients and mix with your hands. Shape into a loaf, I use a bread loaf pan then turn upside down to release loaf. Bake at 325°F for 1 hour, then cool just enough that you can handle the loaf. Pop rolls out of package and unroll the dough, completely cover the loaf, including top and bottom, with the dough. Bake for about 30 more minutes at 350°F or until bread is done. Serve with gravy.

GRAVY: In the bottom of the Dutch oven, combine ingredients and stir well until warmed through. Serve over or on the side.
