Smoky Almonds


Serves: 2

Ingredients

2 cups almonds whole
2 teaspoons butter or margarine
3 tablespoons Parmesan cheese grated
1 teaspoon hickory smoke-flavored salt
dash red bell pepper ground

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350° F. In a jelly roll pan, spread nuts and dot with butter or margarine. Bake for 1 minute or until butter or margarine is melted. Stir nuts to coat. Bake 10 minutes longer or until golden.

Sprinkle nuts with cheese, hickory-smoked salt and red pepper. Stir to coat well. Bake 3 minutes longer. Cool on a wire rack. Store in an airtight container in a cool place.
