Ingredients

2 cups apples, peeled, cored and sliced
1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
1/4 cup all-purpose flour
1/4 cup quick-cooking oats, uncooked
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
3 tablespoons butter, softened
1 Garnish: ice cream or whipped topping

Directions:

Place apples in a buttered 9"x5" loaf pan. Combine brown sugar, flour, oats, cinnamon, nutmeg and butter. Mix until crumbly; sprinkle over apples. Bake at 350 degrees for about 30 minutes, or until apples are tender and topping is golden. Serve warm, garnished as desired.

Tip: Make desserts extra special, even if they're just for one or two. Top sweet treats with dollops of whipped cream, sprinkle on powdered sugar or serve with a big scoop of ice cream…so yummy!
