Bow House Brochettes

Ingredients

1/2 pound sliced bacon
1 pound sea scallops, rinsed and drained
2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
1 1/2 tablespoons firmly packed brown sugar
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Directions:

Cut bacon slices in half. Wrap bacon around scallop and secure with wooden toothpick. Combine butter, brown sugar, and cinnamon. Brush on bacon-wrapped scallops. Broil, turning as necessary, until bacon is crisp on all sides.

Scallops and bacon may be assembled early in day and chilled. Recipe may be doubled.
