_ cup soybeans roasted
_ cup sunflower kernels
___ cup sesame seeds
___ cup shelled pumpkin seeds
___ cup piñon nuts
_ to 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
_ tablespoons soy sauce
_ teaspoons worcestershire sauce
___ teaspoon garlic powder
___ teaspoon onion powder
Dash hot pepper sauce
At least 1 hour or up to 1 week before serving:
Preheat oven to 325°. Place soybeans, kernels, seeds and nuts in a 15 1/2 x 10 1/2 x 1-inch jelly roll pan. Coat with oil. Bake, stirring every 10 minutes, for 45 minutes or until browned.
In a small bowl, mix soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, garlic and onion powders and hot pepper sauce. Sprinkle over nut mixture and stir. Bake 5 to 7 minutes longer. Cool. Store in an airtight container in a cool place.
