|6||hickory-smoked bacon slices, finely chopped|
|1||medium-size sweet onion, finely chopped|
|6||garlic cloves, finely chopped|
|1 cup||chicken broth|
|1 pound||fresh greens (collard, mustard greens, kale, etc.) , washed and trimmed|
|2 1/2 tablespoons||apple cider vinegar|
1. Cook bacon in a saucepan over medium heat 10 to 12 minutes or until almost crisp. Add onion, and sauté 8 minutes; add garlic and sauté 1 minute. Stir in broth and remaining ingredients. Cook 10 minutes or to desired degree of tenderness.
