The Best Pasta in the World

By Sydney Hill

I wholeheartedly believe in the title of this article. However, I haven't tried all the pastas in the world I guess so maybe I speak to soon. But really, this is the best one I've ever had. And every time I serve it, people agree. It's something you can throw together pretty quick, and if you serve it with that mac n' cheese garlic bread I've talked about, you have one colorful and savory meal!

Cajun Chicken Pasta

Serving size: 4
Calories per serving: 603

Ingredients:
4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
2 to 3 teaspoons cajun seasoning
2 tablespoons butter
2 red peppers, chopped
1 green pepper, diced
(8-ounce) package large, fresh-sliced mushrooms
4 green onions
2 cups heavy cream
1/2 teaspoon dried basil
1/2 teaspoon lemon pepper seasoning
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon garlic salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
4 ounces linquini noodles
Parmesan cheese (to sprinkle)

Directions:
Place chicken in Cajun seasoning and toss. Saute chicken until almost done, 5 to 9 minutes. Add peppers, mushrooms, and onions. Cook and stir; reduce heat. Add cream and seasonings; heat through. Add linguine and toss. Heat through. Sprinkle with Parmesan. Makes a lot.
