Crunchy Asian Coleslaw

Serves 12


1 envelope Good Seasons Italian salad dressing and recipe mix, prepared per instructions on envelope
1/2 cup sugar
2 tablespoons soy sauce
2 packages ramen noodles soup mix
2 (16-ounce) packages coleslaw mix
1/2 cup sunflower kernel
1/2 cup sliced almonds (toasted)
sesame oil to taste (optional)
1 can mandarin orange (optional)
4 chicken breasts, optional

Prepare salad dressing mix in small bowl as directed on envelope. Stir in sugar and soy sauce.

Break apart noodles, place in a large bowl. Discard seasoning packet or reserve for another use. Addcoleslaw blend, sunflower kernels and almonds to noodles, mix lightly.

Add dressing, toss to coat. Serve immediately.

This makes a TON of coleslaw, so I would recommend halving the recipe unless you're trying to feed a big crowd.
