I have spent the last 2 hours reading your newsletter and wonderful recipes. I have already printed a whole bunch I want to try. I love them because they are using ingredients one has on hand. Pepper Steak In The Pot

Serves: 4

Download this recipe.

1 1/2 pounds beef round steaks, cut in servings
Salt and pepper, to taste
2 tablespoons oils
1 onion, sliced
1 clove garlic, minced
1 can tomato soup, italian-style
1 cup water
1 tablespoon lemon juice
3 green bell peppers, diced

Season the meat with salt and pepper and dust with flour. Heat oil in a skillet and brown the meat. Alternate layers of meat, peppers, and onions in the crockpot. Combine the remaining ingredients and pour over the meat. Cover and cook on LOW 6 to 8 hours.
