Trailhead Tortilla Ramen


Serves: 5

Ingredients

1 (3-ounce) package ramen noodle (save flavor packet for later use)
1 teaspoon low sodium chicken bouillon
1 teaspoon Mexican or fajita seasoning blend
1/4 teaspoon True lime powder (1 packet)
1 teaspoon diced dried peas and carrots
1 teaspoon dried onion
1 teaspoon diced dried bell pepper
1 teaspoon diced sun-dried tomato
1/4 cup corn chips
2 cups water

Directions:

AT HOME:
1. Place ramen and dry seasonings into sealable Ziploc bag.

2. Put chips into separate bag.

3. Top with corn chips.

AT CAMP:

Open pot method:
1. Bring water to boil; add all ingredients.

2. Simmer 10 minutes.

Optional: Once cooked, top with corn chips.

Fun Fact: Smoking and drinking are the two "vices" which makes it more difficult to adjust to high altitudes.
