Millet with Cilantro and Red Peppers


Serves: 4
Total Calories: 305

Ingredients

6 cups water
2 cups millet rinsed
2 cups coarsely chopped red bell peppers
1 1/2 cups chopped cilantro
2/3 cup sunflower seed
1/2 teaspoon sea salt or to taste

Directions:

1. Bring all of the ingredients to boil in a 4-quart stockpot. Reduce the heat to low and simmer covered for 15 minutes, or until the water is absorbed.

2. Stir the millet, and serve immediately. To make burgers, cover the cooked millet and cool for 30 minutes. Form into burgers and serve.
