Sunflower Nut Oven French Toast

Ingredients

1 1/2 teaspoons vegetable oil
2 tablespoons chopped roasted unsalted sunflower seeds
3 tablespoons unsweetened frozen (thawed) apple juice concentrate
1/4 cup fat-free cholesterol-free egg product or 1 egg
4 slices 12 grain bread or other multigrain bread

Directions:

1. Heat oven to 450°. Spread oil evenly in jelly roll pan, 15 1/2 X 10 1/2 X 1 inch, in area the size of 4 slices bread. Sprinkle 2 to 3 teaspoons sunflower nuts evenly over oil.
2. Beat apple juice concentrate and egg product with hand beater until blended. Dip bread into egg mixture place in pan. Drizzle any remaining egg mixture over bread. Sprinkle remaining sunflower nuts evenly over bread. Bake 10 to 13 minutes or until bottoms are golden brown.
