Ingredients

2 cups half and half
1 cup milk
2 tablespoons maple syrup (optional)
1/2 teaspoon imitation maple flavoring
3/4 teaspoon powdered stevia extract
1/2 cup chopped walnuts

Directions:

• Blend all the ingredients together except the nuts. Pour into an ice cream machine, and process. Add the chopped walnuts about halfway into the freezing process. The nut pieces should be no bigger than a chocolate chip.

FOR VANILLA ICE CREAM USE:
2 cups half-and-half
1 cup milk
2 tablespoons honey (optional)
3/4 teaspoon powdered stevia extract
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
• Blend all the ingredients together in a blender. Pour into the container of an ice cream machine, and process according to directions.

NOTE: I found that the two recipes above did not work well using yogurt or tofu because the flavor was poor. However, you are welcome to try it for yourself.
