Cheesy Garlic Bread

Ingredients

1 to 1 3/4 pound Bread Bowl (not hollowed out)
1 1/4 cups shredded Cheddar cheese
1 1/4 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
2 cloves garlic minced
2 tablespoons red wine
chopped chives for garnish

Directions:

1. Preheat the oven to 350°F.

2. Cut slices into the bread round about 1 inch apart, without cutting through to the bottom. Make a half turn with the round and, once again, cut slices into the bread. This will create 1-x-1-inch square pieces of bread projecting from the center of the loaf (but still attached to the bottom).

3. In a medium bowl, combine the Cheddar and mozzarella cheeses, garlic, and wine. Stuff this mixture between the cut pieces of bread.

4. Wrap the entire loaf in aluminum foil, then place it on a baking sheet in the middle of the oven. Bake for 25 minutes, or until the bread is thoroughly heated and the cheese is melted. Carefully remove the foil and continue to bake another 3 minutes. Remove from the oven and sprinkle with chives.

5. Once cool enough to handle, pull pieces of bread from the bowl and enjoy.
