Easy Swiss Steak


Serves: 4

Ingredients

1 1/2 pounds beef round steaks cut into serving size pieces
1 pound baby carrots
1 envelope onion soup mix
1 (8-ounce) can tomato sauce
1/2 cup water

Directions:

Place carrots in bottom of greased 3 1/2 to 5-quart slow cooker. Top with steak. Combine soup mix, tomato sauce, and water. Pour over other ingredients. Cover and cook on low heat 8-10 hours. To serve the steak, ladle over plain or garlic mashed potatoes. Makes 4~6 servings.

Serve with a side of cucumber and onion marinated in vinegar.
