Yield: 3 cups, for one 9-inch pie or tart crust

Ingredients

1 1/3 cups dried black Mission figs, unsoaked
2 cups pecans, unsoaked

Directions:

cutting board
paring knife
measuring cups
food processor
rubber spatula

Trim off the stems of the figs with a paring knife. Put the pecans in a food processor fitted with the S blade. Add the figs and process until the mixture sticks together. Stored in a sealed container, Fig Crust will keep for 2 weeks in the refrigerator or 1 month in the freezer.
