Microwave Chicken Alfredo

Ingredients

8 ounces fettuccine noodles, uncooked
6 boneless chicken breasts
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
4 tablespoons margarine
1/4 cup finely chopped onion
2 cups sliced fresh mushrooms
3 tablespoons flour
1 1/2 cups chicken broth
1 1/2 cups half and half
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
1/4 cup Parmesan cheese
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1/2 cup mozzarella cheese

Directions:

Boil noodles for 10 minutes; drain. Sprinkle chicken breasts with garlic and cook 10–12 minutes on high in microwave. Slice into cubes after cooled. In baking dish, cook margarine, onions, and mushrooms for 3–4 minutes on high. Add flour and cook 1 more minute. Add remaining ingredients (except mozzarella cheese) and cook on high 10–12 minutes, or until sauce is boiling and thick. Stir in noodles and chicken. Cover with cheese.
