Ingredients

1 pound ground beef
1 onion, chopped
2 potatoes, sliced
2 carrots, peeled and sliced
1 green pepper, diced
1 stalk celery, diced
1 (14 1/2-ounce) can diced tomatoes, drained
seasoned salt and pepper to taste

Directions:

Form beef into 4 patties; place each patty on a large sheet of aluminum foil. Top patties with vegetables in order given. Sprinkle with seasoned salt and pepper. Bring ends of foil together and roll tightly; fold ends to seal. Grill on outer edges of coals for about 20 to 30 minutes, turning occasionally. Open carefully, allowing hot steam to escape.

Tip: Traveling a distance to your cookout site? Wrap and freeze burgers or marinated meat before packing in an ice chest. The frozen meat will help keep other items cold and will thaw in time for grilling.
