Ingredients

4 whole wheat pita bread or 1 ready made pizza crust
1 cup (or more) spaghetti sauce no salt added
1 1/2 cups bite size broccoli florets
1 small onion thinly sliced into rings
5 fresh mushrooms sliced or 1 4 oz can sliced mushrooms drained
1/2 red bell pepper seeded and cut into strips
1/2 green bell pepper seeded and cut into strips
1 ripe tomato thinly sliced
2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
1 cup reduced fat shredded mozzarella cheese
4 dashes red pepper flakes to taste
4 sprinkles Italian seasoning

Directions:

1. Preheat oven to 425°.
2. Spread sauce evenly over pitas or crust.
3. Rinse, drain and placebroccli in a microwave-safe dish. Cover and cook on HIGH 1 minute.
4. Prep vegetables and neatly arrange over pitas or crust. Top with broccoli.
5. Sprinkle remaining ingredients evenly over pitas or crust in order given.
6. Bake until cheese is melted, 10 to 12 minutes. Meanwhile, make Where’s the Lettuce? Salad. Serve one pita per person or cut pizza into 8 slices.
